Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed doubts over his ability to fulfill his campaign promises, reports Punch.
The President, who spoke on Friday at the graduation ceremony of Course 24 of the National Defence College, Abuja, where he was the Special Guest of Honour, said the task before him was not an easy one.
He said, he and members of his team were trusting in God that they would deliver through hard work and sound vision.
“Let me assure you all that this administration is committed to bequeathing to this nation, a new orientation in leadership that will be service-driven and committed to the realisation of its promises to the electorates. “We are however not under any illusions that this task is an easy one.
“But we have put our trust in God knowing that with hard work and sound vision, we will triumph,” he was quoted to have said.
On the rampaging Fulani herdsmen Buhari stated that his administration will no longer tolerate acts of banditry and criminality from the herdsmen, reportsThisday
He said he has mandated security agencies in the country to adequately deal with such act as it was capable of truncating the peace of the country.
